Wanted: WKU English Majors for Blogosphere
We need a few like-minded students willing to explore what it means to be an English major at Western Kentucky University. This vanguard of the “blog”-etariat will lead an online community of practice along with a few permanent English majors (read teachers and graduate students). They will, as civil rights activist Miles Horton once said, make this road by walking it.
We hope that this will become a conversation that opens here, that will spill out into the lively hallways of Cherry Hall, that engages the worlds where our majors work, and, perhaps, wend its way back here on a regular basis. Or not. We are not certain about where this will lead. Let’s find out.
